A native of Huntington, Long Island Coach Kivlen will be coaching the defense for Garnet Valley.  Coach Kivlen is entering his second year with the Jags after serving as head coach for Council Rock North.  In his first year at GV the defense gave up only 4 goals a game.  In four years at CR North Kivlen's record was 39-32, including making the district playoffs each of the past two years.  In addition to coaching a number of clubs teams in the past such as Arrowhead Lacrosse and Bucks Select, Kivlen will be coaching the Jags Lax U15 team this coming summer.  He is excited to continue to great tradition of defensive success at Garnet Valley
